Clayden is a right-handed pitcher from Salt Lake City, Utah, currently competing in his junior season of college baseball at CSU Pueblo in Colorado. Began playing baseball at four years old and quickly knew it was the sport he wanted to pursue long term. Clayden started his collegiate career at Western Nebraska Community College, earning a starting role as a freshman. During his sophomore year, he faced adversity after suffering a UCL injury that required surgery, resulting in a medical redshirt season. Returned the following year as the Game 1 starter at CSU Pueblo, continuing to build his growing career on the mound.
