Donovan Faria

Donovan Faria has been playing football since the age of four, entering high school with the dream of becoming a Division I athlete. After a standout junior season at Land O' Lakes High School, Donovan suffered a torn ACL just one month after the year ended, a major setback for any young athlete.

Through determination and an exceptional recovery process, he returned in just 6.5 months for his senior season and excelled on the field. While the timing made it difficult for Division I programs to recruit him, Donovan chose the Division II path where he had an outstanding true freshman year, including a game winning interception against a Top 10 Division II program. His performance earned him the opportunity to transfer to Georgia State University, a Division I FBS program where he now plays safety and nickel.
